After The End by Amy Plum [ARC Review]

★★★★
Goodreads summary:She’s searching for answers to her past. They’re hunting her to save their future.

World War III has left the world ravaged by nuclear radiation. A lucky few escaped to the Alaskan wilderness. They've survived for the last thirty years by living off the land, being one with nature, and hiding from whoever else might still be out there.

At least, this is what Juneau has been told her entire life.

When Juneau returns from a hunting trip to discover that everyone in her clan has vanished, she sets off to find them. Leaving the boundaries of their land for the very first time, she learns something horrifying: There never was a war. Cities were never destroyed. The world is intact. Everything was a lie.

Now Juneau is adrift in a modern-day world she never knew existed. But while she's trying to find a way to rescue her friends and family, someone else is looking for her. Someone who knows the extraordinary truth about the secrets of her past.

I am telling you right now, this book is Best Seller!!! I love it!
It was exciting, frustrating and cute. Yes, it’s cute.
A girl who found out that everything they taught her in her whole life isn’t true.
A boy who wants to prove something to his father.
They cross paths.
Let’s join the exciting journey of Juneau and Miles. Their journey to find June’s clan.
Or are they going to find something different?
From the writer of the Bestselling Revenants Series, Amy Plum brings you a new series you’ll definitely love.

*MC’s Corner*

  • ·         I love the story. I love when Miles and Juneau crossed paths.

  • ·         I love the Riddles!!!

  • ·         I love Miles, but I don’t think he’s a book boyfriend type though. Sometimes I think there’s something wrong with him. He’s eighteen and stuck with a seventeen years old girl, (you know what I mean here.)  Sometimes I felt like he’s a sixteen years old, but I think in the middle part he acted on his age.

  • ·         Miles and Juneau’s scenes are so cute. I love when they’re in the car. (OhMyGosh! I can’t stop gushing. Nakakakilig!!!)

  • ·         Then there’s this witchy thingy. I kind of like it. It was weird but it’s a good addition in the book. (I bet it’s a genetic alteration)

  • ·         My eyes watered a bit when June said goodbye with her dogs. Then “Poe” the raven enters the story. I love it.

  • ·         The anti-aging drug. Where is this drug came from? (My bet is this is the reason why June dad and his friends escape the city and lived in this post apocalyptic world).

  • ·         The cliffhanger is asdfghjkl. I WANT THE NEXT BOOK!
