★★★★★

Goodreads summary:  From "New York Times" bestselling author Brandon Sanderson's action-packed novel "Steelheart" comes "Mitosis," a short story set in the world of The Reckoners series, exclusively available in the digital format.

Steelheart may be dead, but Epics still plague Newcago and David and the Reckoners have vowed to fight back.

Catch all the action before, "Firefight" the exciting sequel to "Steelheart" hits shelves in fall 2014.

“I’m here, for the one they call Steelslayer, the child who supposedly killed Steelheart. For every five minutes it takes him to reveal himself, I will execute a member of this population.” - Mitosis

CALAMITY!!!
You just made my day!!! I love it!
What I love about this book is the “super heroes” are the bad guys. They’re not really heroes BTW, they’re called Epics. They’re a bunch of assholes, bitches and douche bags with super powers.
Okay back to Mitosis

“Your people run from me, Steelslayer, but I am like God himself. I am everywhere. Do not think I won’t be able to find someone to kill.” -Mitosis

 *MC’s Corner*

·         Mitosis is an Epic

·         I felt like I was reading a comic book.

·         He doesn’t believe with Steelslayer. (OR maybe he’s jealous that he didn’t have a chance of killing Steelheart by himself. Poor guyL. ASSHOLE!.. OR He and Steelheart got something and want some revenge.  ♥♥♥)

·         When you read the last part of this book… I think it’s bittersweet. You can’t help but smile with watery eyes. (SO GAY)

·         I think I fell in love the series more. GOSH!

·         Dear Brandon Sanderson,
I want more Reckoners novellas.  And I think it’s a good idea. More defeating the damn Epics!!! Grrrr!!!

Sparks! HOTDOGS WITHOUT KETCHUP? HELL TO THE NO!

Into The Still Blue by Veronica Rossi (Under the Never Sky, #3) [ARC]

(Note: SPOILERS!)
★★★★★
Goodreads summary: The earth-shattering conclusion to Veronica Rossi's "masterpiece" Under the Never Sky trilogy and sequel to the New York Times bestselling Through the Ever Night (Examiner.com).

Their love and their leadership have been tested. Now it's time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world.

The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.

Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won't even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.

Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.

In this final book in her stunning Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

The thing about this series is I don’t know what to expect or what’s going to happen next. Obviously my first reaction when I saw the title is I think is a journey. I love the adventure in the first two books, so I really don’t know what to expect.
The exciting conclusion of the New York Times BestSelling Under the Never Sky!

Is Still Blue exist?
Are they going reach Still Blue?
What’s going to happen when they reach it?
What’s next to Aria and Perry?
Let’s join Aria, Perry, Roar, and the Tides for the last time.

*MC’s Corner*

  • ·         First I’m just going to say that Roar is so SEXy when he’s singing. (*fanning my face* wooh!)

  • ·         I think Roar got himself a new best friend. (LOL)

  • ·         Aria is going to meet his father. (I don’t know… but I kinda love Aria’s and his father’s scenes)

  • ·         Perry’s pants are annoying me. (HAHAHAHA, I wish they fell down. *pouting*)

  • ·         Soren… Okay, I expected him to be on the good side. But what happened here… OhMyGosh!

  • ·         I wish Aria killed “the Bitch”. (Or maybe it’s a good thing Aria didn’t, because I am going to kill her myself. Wahahaha)

  • ·         WOAH. I HATE Sable. I mean I hate him next to Voldemort. GOD!!! I don’t know what to say. He’s like obsess with his own evilness. Gosh I got scared wi9th him in some parts. (CREEPY!)

  • ·         The ending… hmmm… I’m not disappointed but I wish there’s more. I loved it. (I expected baby Perry.)

  • ·         CINDER.

I am going to miss this series, I love the ending. I am happy with it. GREAT JOB!

Misbehaving by Abbi Glines (Sea Breeze, #6)[Review]

★★★★
Goodreads summary: An unexpected affair leads to mind-blowing harmony in this Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.

Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. But as the new duo enjoys some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that even though Jax is the musician in the family, he’s not the only brother who can rock someone’s world.

“Cute, huh? Do I need to remind you of my sexiness?” –Jason Stone

So what happened here is a disaster. I’m not disappointed with it. I love the book. I like the story. But it’s not Sea Breeze. This is my least favorite of all Abbi Glines book that I have ever read.

“I don’t get possessive. I can’t get possessive. I don’t have time for that. You are making me feel that way, and it doesn’t fit into my world. I was trying to distance myself.” – Jason Stone

*MC’s Corner*

  • ·        So if you will read this I think you’ll forget all the first 5 books. I think it’s better and you’ll enjoy it that way.
  • ·         I think the author is trying to make us like her.
  •       After reading the book I still don’t. It’s not like she’s unlikable, it’s just I didn’t get her. She’s has different personalities, likeable and not.  But I felt like these personalities don’t get well when you put them in one Jess. It’s confusing.
  • ·      On Jason side… DUDE! Where’s the Jason I saw in the previous books???
I felt like its Jason BUT ten years older. He’s not acting like he’s 20 years old. And some parts he’s acting like a jock or a douche bag. It’s not like him.
  • ·         So Jason here became… SEXy!!! I like this part:
“His biceps flexed, capturing my complete attention. I wondered what his abs looked like.”
*sigh* ME TOO!!! *imagining it right now* #heaven
  • ·         What happened to that f’n bat? Hmmmm… O.o I like that part!
  • ·         So apparently Jason loves hairs. I mean touching hairs. (So if you want to seduce Jason Stone… wear your hair down.)
  • ·         So... Jess is a fashion designer. *toot* I don’t believe that part. (Sorry, I think that part is just a waste of space.)
  • ·         Who is Logan?
  • ·         I’m so confused.

Secret by Brigid Kemmerer (Elemental, #4) [ARC]

★★★
(Note: There are some spoilers. And lots of gayness)
Goodreads summary: Nowhere is safe. Not even home…

Nick Merrick is stretched to the breaking point.

Keep his grades sky-high or he’ll never escape his hometown.
Keep his brother’s business going or the Merricks will be out on the street.
Keep the secret of where he’s going in the evenings from his own twin—-or he’ll lose his family.

Keep his mind off the hot, self-assured dancer who’s supposed to be his “girlfriend’s” partner.

Of course there’s also the homicidal freak Quinn has taken to hanging around, and the Elemental Guide counting the hours until he can try again to kill the Merrick brothers.

There’s a storm coming. From all sides. And then some.

Nick Merrick, can you keep it together?

THIS IS MY FAVORITE ELEMENTAL BOOK SO FAR!!! OhMyGosh!!!

It was hawt , sexy, exciting and full of secrets .

*MC’s Corner*

  • ·         Is there a bed scene with Adam and Nick? Maybe… (*fanning myself*)
